Candle Care

On first use, it is important to burn your candle until the entire surface melts. This will ensure an even burn thereafter and prevent tunnelling. This first burn may take around 3 to 4 hours, so ensure you have the time for a successful first burn.

  • On subsequent use, trim each wick to 5mm to prevent black smoke and soot forming around the vessel.
  • To ensure your ceramic vessel looks its best, wipe any residue with a damp cloth.
  • Once finished, simply remove the wicks and wash the vessel in hot soapy water.

Candle Safety

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Do not place your candle near flammable objects.
  • Discontinue burning your candle when there is 1 cm of wax remaining.

To ensure your Candle looks its best, we recommend keeping it away from heat and direct sunlight. Being natural soy wax they can sweat and discolour or fade. However, be assured this does not affect the quality or burning of the candle.

Following the use of your candle you may notice light divots or rippling begin to occur throughout the wax. This ‘perfectly imperfect’ effect is not a sign your candle is faulty, it is reassurance your candle is 100% natural.

Diffuser Care

  • Carefully unplug and pour the Diffuser Oil into the Ceramic Vessel. We suggest doing this over a sink. 
  • If any spills occur, wipe affected surfaces with a damp cloth to prevent damage and staining. 
  • Insert Rattan Reeds and wait for 1hr before flipping the Reeds to ensure fragrance penetration.  
  • Flip the Reeds once a week to ensure ongoing scent.

The Rattan Reeds are thick and porous which creates a slow-release scent that should last for around 6 months.  

Diffuser Safety

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not swallow.
  • Do not apply directly to skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Keep Diffuser Oil away from heat and naked flames.

We recommend that you display your Diffuser in a smaller area or room to maximise scent throw, not a large open space with drafts.


Also, remember this Diffuser is multipurpose and can be used as a small vase.

Oil Burner Care

  • Place the tea light within the vessel and light it carefully. Allow the flame to establish.
  • Place the Oil Burner tray onto the vessel filled with ¾ water.
  • Add 12 drops of Essential Oil.
  • Once alight do not leave the Oil Burner unattended.
  • If any spills occur, clean the surface thoroughly with a damp cloth to prevent damage and staining.

The large tray holds enough water and oil to burn for around 5 hours. As the fragrance fades, add a few more drops to enhance the natural scent.

You can also reverse your Oil Burner and add the essential oil drops and water in the tray and use it as a statement piece without tea light and flame.

To preserve the strength and integrity of your Essential Oils, we recommend that you store the bottle in a cool, dark place away from heat and sunlight.
